We believe the key to successful investing is purchasing equity or debt securities in high quality, easily understood companies at good prices.  While it sounds simple, there are very few high quality investments available and even fewer at suitable prices at any given time.  We focus on a very narrow set of opportunities, then establish meaningful positions in these when prices are attractive.   Our goal is absolute, positive performance over time.

Most investment advisers will invest clients' money in expensive market proxies or opaque instruments.  We believe our focus on quality at the right prices will yield superior results over the long term, with lower risk than buying the markets at large or investing in third party securities.  We prefer investments in companies with strong cash flows and easy to understand businesses.   This applies to our debt or equity investing.

Clients maintain separate accounts, to which they always maintain full ownership and transparency.  Custodial services are provided by Pershing, a subsidiary of the Bank of New York Mellon Co.
